Description
The Van Medevoort CT360D stereo CD transport with DAC option is designed to match the vM amplifiers and also to connect on the digital inputs of the external vM DAC’s like the DA360 or DA470. The same heavy, rigid housing is used to minimize resonances and mechanical distortion. The CD transport mechanism is mounted on a multiple sub chassis with vibration absorption and an elastic suspension to isolate against acoustic feedback. Only audiophile quality components are used in the power supplies and the digital and analog circuits. The vM Super Clock is placed for perfect timing. Extra control options are available, such as repeat or random play, by using the vM remote control. Next to the digital coaxial RCA and XLR outputs, for SPDif and AES-EBU, there is also an optical output available and even a unique Q-Link. The used D/A chip is the ESS-Sabre.
